Tips to Increase Pitching Velocity

There are many things that can attribute to increased pitching velocity .  However, if I were to sum it all up into a few sentences I would say to increase pitching velocity explode lower body movements from back leg to front leg while maintaining proper balance with trunk and torso, upper body and using your natural arm slot. 

 

We all know that you can increase pitching velocity using proper pitching mechanics alone.  But you cannot ignore the fact that you should have a good conditioning program that includes strength training, flexibility, speed and agility, skill and endurance training.  Your purpose of working out as a pitcher is to condition the muscles you will use while delivering the baseball.
